My wife has been a patient of Dr Vischio for many years. Always patient, kind and caring. We have never felt rushed at her extensive visits as she has many rhumatologic conditions. Our requests or needs are responded to very efficiently. It has been an honor to be in his care.
Very disappointed to know that although Dr. Vischio accepts new patients, he cannot see me since another specialist had seen me before, something that I had never heard before.
I have been going to Dr Vischio for years now for back and fybromialgia. He's personable, very helpful, and I highly recommend. Helped me out alot.
Was referred by another specialist from Hartford healthcare, sent over medical history, labs, etc… Dr. Vischio reviewed & handed off to another Dr within the practice, who tried to push me off onto the Hartford Healthcare bone & joint institute.. Upon calling back, I was informed the practice wasn’t taking any new patients… What Dr. who isn’t taking new patients review a patients medical history if they have no intention of taking on a new patient?? Thoroughly disappointed to say the least…
He’s arrogant, didn’t want to know anything about me in my initial first visit. Said I was making him late for his next appointment, first appointment is only 15 minutes, that’s to short of a first visit for sure. He prescribed metho and after taking it produced nodules, and I told him it wasn’t my RA Causing it it was the medication, he argued with me and said no it couldn’t be, but my new dr, Traverse who trained Dr. Vishio confirmed I was correct, Metho can cause nodules all over the body.
