I will be traveling back to Philadelphia for adequate treatment with my next pregnancy. I am on my 2nd miscarriage and have been refused to be seen both times. ER twice and waited 9 hours for no one to come. If i could rate this hospital 0 stars, I would. I am no stranger to the healthcare system and have never experienced this level of neglect at ANY Philadelphia hospital or providers, regardless of speciality. Reproductive medicine wont see me unless they see my partner first. None of it makes sense.
I’m not a big fan of gynecologists and stopped going to my previous one long back for that reason. I would say I am impressed with the smooth and quick visit today. Lady at the front desk was pleasant and Dr. Adaora Udoh was thorough and helpful. Definitely recommend this place and specifically Dr. Adaora Udoh!
I've been a patient at Virtua OB/GYN for more than 35 years. It's changed hands since then and of course, there are hundreds of new doctors but overall I've had good experiences with this practice. However, I just tried to schedule my annual exam which is due at the end of August. I was told the doctor I have been seeing for more than a year and dealing with all kinds of issues is fully booked until the end of October and they do not have their November calendars available yet. If you’re pregnant, go somewhere else. The pros: some doctors here were absolutely wonderful, warm and helpful (Udoh, Collazo, Fuseini); the front desk was great; and I was always seen in a timely manner (except for when I saw Kramer). Other experiences here were AWFUL. For example, one doctor told to go to my primary care doctor for a pregnancy related problem I guess she just didn’t want to help with?
