Dr. Gonzalez is a very knowledgeable physician. I have been to several dermatologist prior to my first visit with her and she was able to present a diagnosis immediately. She took time to explain the details of my condition, show photos of similar cases, give long term treatment plan and discuss lab results in depth. I waited a total of 5 minutes before seeing her and never felt rushed or uncomfortable.
This doctor is just OK. She never met the doctor she referred me to and it took awhile for her to figure out the name of the doctor. Her staff or as I was told nurses seemed like they didn't really know what they were doing. The receptionist, Malinda, is a real embarrassment. She is really rude and incompetent. Probably one of the worst I've come across. Their whole team has communication issues and zero client priority issues. Don't ask Malinda for referral addresses; she'll say Google it.
Called Dr.Gonzalez's office to ask one question about accepting insurance, telephone operator placed me on hold for a ridiculously 23 minutes.
She seems very good, but an hour wait for a simple follow up is beyond ridiculous.
