I was taken to Winchester hospital for heart problems and AJ Virmani Was my Doctor I couldn't breathe when I laid down or anything. My feet were swollen and I was really sick but he ended up sending me home after 10 days of being in the hospital and not making any improvements I then went to Berkeley medical center the following day and they kept me overnight and said they couldn't get me back into Winchester so they sent me home. 6 days later I had to call 911 I was taken to berkeley medical where I was incubated and flown ... read more
Last October I underwent pacemaker surgery by Dr. Ajay Virmani. Shortly after arriving home, my blood pressure dropped and I became dizzy and light-headed. My daughter called 911. When I arrived at the ER, the nurse discovered that the IV from my surgery that morning was still in my arm.I was admitted to the ICU. A few hours later, I went into cardiac arrest. Dr. Virmani placed two stents in my heart left anterior descending and one in my femoral artery many years ago and I haven't had any problems with them. He is a very kind and compassionate Doctor. He has always been very thorough and has helped me tremendously. Even my general practioner said that if he ever needed a Cardiologist, Dr. Virmani is the one he would see.
Always respectful. Always professional. Trustworthy. Knowledgeable.
His group doesn't seem like they care about the patient. It takes forever to get your perscription refilled and they only book out 1 month at a time . Going to seek out a group that puts patients first.
Dr. Virmani explains procedures before hand, offers options, listens and follows up with verbal and visual explanations of results.
Pleasant staff. Dr. Virmani listens. Does not appear to rush and fully explains everything.
Dr. Virmani treated my mother with outstanding results. Her life and quality of life was extended by his treatments. I am know under his care and I appreciate his care and guidance. He has spent time explaining the procedures and my options. His guidance has been invaluable to me.
Spends very little time. Last experience a disaster. His staff not client oriented. They make you feel like you are just a number that they have to deal with. I will not return. I will request my records and seek other doctors.
