Not only are there fond memories, but when I joined the professional world in and around Washington DC, I quickly realized that I had received a first class private school education. It allowed me to stand head and shoulders with and often above my college educated counterparts. That's why I'm quick to let people know that I did my undergraduate work at Virginia Union University.
