They are good people and they are nice and good energy
Called office today for medication refill for my son. The Lady I spoke with was very sweet and helped me with all the annoying questions I had. Staff here is always polite and willing to help. My son has only been a patient here for a couple months and I can’t say we’ve had any problems. My family and I are very thankful for all they do. Thank you Virginia South Psychiatric for helping my family.
Its pretty sad the staff that has answered which I have called multiple times does not care about the mental health of the patients nor get back to them in any sort of manner. Let me make it clear, it isnt the doctors and therapists its the receptionists (4 different ones so far) that don't care when you have a mental emergency. PLEASE TRY ANOTHER PLACE DUE THE THE RECEPTIONISTS POOR ATTITUDES AND LACK OF CONCERN FOR PATIENTS IN THEIR LOWEST POINT. Been coming here for 2 years for my daughter. Although I haven't had many instances where the front desk is rude, but, depending on the day, some of them have not had the best attitude. I have seen Dr. Beer for about 6 months now and she is wonderful, however, my daughter has seen Dr. Shaw for 2 years now and everytime he has been late, or he rushes the appointment.
Overall I really like this Office & staff. However, getting refills for medication I've been taking for a while...takes 2 wks no matter what.
