When we renovated and added on to our house, Virginia Soapstone provided a fireplace surround & hearth and a broad stone step with a low podium on either end. They were super hospitable when we visited the workshop to choose a slab, and they worked seamlessly with us and our contractor. The results are beautiful! Five plus stars!

I have a soapstone sink and countertop made of Alberene soapstone that I purchased from the quarry in Franklin County, VA 20 years ago. I now want to put a short 6-inch backsplash around the countertop. Only Virginia Soapstone had Alberene soapstone that looked just like what my countertop was made of. And they had it in 6x12 inch tiles, which was perfect. Oscar at the warehouse was very helpful.
