I have gone twice in the past month to see Maribel Dupont, a PA for Virginia Skin for two different suspicious skin lesions. Making an appointment was quick and easy and she was able to see me fairly quickly, unlike every dermatologist practice I called in Charlottesville who did not have an open appointment for a new patient for months. The first visit, I had a spot she advised should be removed and was able to remove it at that visit and send it to a lab. The lab results came back in a couple of days. I had a very frustrating experience with the billing practices at this office, and I think prospective patients should be aware of them. I wish I had read the countless reviews on here and other sites before going so I was aware. At the end of my appointment, I was told I had to pay before I left. I’ve never experienced this before at any doctor’s office visit for myself or my family. Always have a pleasant experience at VA SKIN DERM. Dr. Willey is very kind and compassionate. Her staff are very kind and pleasant. I can’t recommend Dr. Willey enough. She also would be able to see you quickly, while other offices have a 3-6 month wait.
