Extremely disappointed with the billing and collection practices at Virginia Oral Surgery Specialists. My wife paid over $1,100 upfront at the time of treatment and we were led to believe the financial obligations had largely been handled. Months later, additional balances suddenly appeared after insurance processing, and instead of professionally resolving the dispute, the account was quickly escalated to collections with added fees. Allison and Sundus are wonderful! They helped me navigate my 85 year old mother's tooth infection and extraction. Dr. Dawood and his team are professional and considerate. My mom felt comfortable given her dementia and mobility issues. Her tooth extraction went as smoothly as possible given her age and pain tolerance.
I was so pleased with the whole staff and Dr. Dawood’s expertise! I came in with a horrible wisdom tooth that was infected. Within two days, they got me into surgery, put me under sedation, and got that tooth out. Afterwards, I did experience slight tongue nerve damage which I informed Dr.Dawood about. He put me on the appropriate medication that had my nerve damage gone within three days!
