My niece had eye surgery with Dr. Sismanis at VOS. The surgery was successful, and the staff treated her extremely well. However, her employer medical insurance refused to pay for the procedure despite having approved the surgery in advance. Rather than just presenting the bill to my niece, one of VOS's administrators, Kelly, called the insurance and advocated for the bill to be paid. Everyone in this office is extremely kind and patient. Dr. Sismanis has amazing bedside manner and so do all of the nurses that work there. I went in extremely scared and nervous about my procedure, but the nurse held my hand the entire time. I hope I don’t need to come back but if I need to visit an eye surgeon this is the only place I will go.
I am writing this on behalf of my wife. She came in with a sty and, after being told over the course of 15 minutes that they couldn't help but would prescribe her something anyways, charged her >$100 for wasted effort. I would recommend other doctors for your needs.
Dr Sismanis messed up my surgery and then had the audacity to not refund me, stay away, nearly all 5 star reviews below are fake as expected
