The billing system is just so broken. I submit a question about billing online, no reply in a week. I called the billing office, they can't find me through my medical record # in the their system. And I see my balance is 0 online but keep receiving billing mails...

I recently had lung surgery at the Jones Surgery Center, Sept. 16. My surgery team was fantastic. Dr. Hubka and his entire staff were as good as it gets. So was the entire nursing staff. Unfortunately, other patient support services had multiple points of failure. It began with check-in. I was told the night before that my check-in time was 1:30. Went to the psych ward during a psychotic break. They held me for observation overnight, then kicked me out the next morning after doing literally nothing. Went to a better hospital later that actually treated me by giving me some antipsychotics and who actually gave a damn and provided me with some real support.
