Horrible is all I can say. Won’t ever go back here. First, I went for a primary care visit and the doctor after my visit forgot to push a button notifying the lab. I waited for over 30 minutes, watching people who came after me be seen first. Careless!!!! I was getting worried as I needed to get to work. Secondly, they overcharge! Yep, you’ve been warned. Even when busy - lab wasn’t a long wait. Have gotten excellent care here. A nurse-practitioner really listened to me & sent me for tests which uncovered a serious, life-threatening heart condition.
VM has taken on too many patients. It is difficult to see a doctor and they repeatedly tell you to go to the hospital when services can be done at the clinic. Frustrating!
The clinic is a joke. Starting with the scheduler, then with Dr. Tzou that would not do a prostrate exam on a 58 year old man, whose family has history of cancer, wanting to do all appointments online, and so on. You cancel an appointment online 5 days before the appointment, then you get a threatening letter from them because you did not show up. They have a monopoly, they know it and treat patients worse than animals.
I have been going to Virginia Mason on Bainbridge Island. The Doctors, PACs and Nurses have always been professional, caring and value added to my wellness plans. The only issues I experienced in the past is with the front.checkin desk. It is hit or miss with who checks you in and their individual demeanors; some are not.as pleasant as others and consistency could be improved. Overall, I appreciate the care revceived at VM Bainbridge and will continue to put my trust in their care.
