We've been using Virginia Green for about two years now. We started with a VERY neglected lawn (more weeds than grass) and now we get comments on how good it looks. The weeds disappeared and the grass that grew in after they aerated/seeded is so green and soft.
Do not use Virginia Green. The remedy for not preforming last fall was to come back the first of the year and redo a weed treatment and then come bace about a month later and redo a fertilizer treatment then come back about another month later and redo the aeration and seeding. you came back only two times as my guess is you did a weed and fertilizer treatment in one. You failed miserably Virginia green. You did a weed and fertilizer treatment but failed to make clear that there would be 2 charges. You had my money for aeration and seeding for about 5 weeks before you did the service. In this time frame my neighbor did his own seeding and grew a full yard of grass. I was told once the seeding was done that I should see grass starting in 3 to 7 days. Yes I watered the yard each day for 4 weeks. I was told not to cut the grass for 3 weeks. My lawn received fertilizer application yesterday and my lawn was covered with leaves. Without prior notification i was not able to blow the leaves off my lawn. Now that I have blown the leaves off I am not sure if any of the fertilizer got to the grass.
Lawn is starting to take shape thanks to the Virginia Green folks. The poor excuse for sod the builder put down is finally starting to show signs of life
