That Clydesdale with the hole drilled in to it with the medical maggots? That's my horse, Oz. I bought him because my wife and daughters ride and I wanted a big horse who was kind that I could trail ride with my family on. 5 days after I bought him, his hoof exploded with infection and his coffin bone showed infection. I just wanted to share about how wonderful my experiences with Virginia Equine PLLC have been; I would HIGHLY recommend any of their doctors to absolutely anyone in the greater Richmond area. I'm unfortunately an "absentee owner" as I live in NY and my senior horse is retired in VA, and am so relieved to have found a practice that makes me feel so confident and comfortable about his care. Dr Patteson did and AMAZING job for my donkeys..I cannot thank her enough for all she did to save moma and baby. She took the time with them and explaining to me everything during my farm call; as well as when they stayed at the clinic for a week she did regular check ups on them, and calls and pictures to me so I was sure they were being well taken care of.
