Front desk staff are terrible... nightmare
Dr.Akta herself gave me valuable information about my condition but the process with my meds was horrible because I knew what I was taking and when but the office didn't. Then when it came to billing they sent me a letter stating that my insurance had not processed my last appointment and when I called to see what was going on the office in turn canceled my next appointment, on the day i called which i got a paper in the mail dated for the day i called, without even trying to resolve the issue because I was waiting for them ... read more
Dawn Di Pepe has ALWAYS treated me so good. She listens and takes her time with me. She also sees my son. She has gotten our health back on track and given us a great quality of life. She is not a med pusher and is willing to fight with the insurance company’s to get a med covered for you. (This is amazing because most Dr’s don’t take the time to do this) It’s worth the wait to be a patient at this office. All specialist take a while to get in with but once you are an established patient you are in good hands.
Absolutely the worst based on their administrative policies against insurance holders. We are insured with Anthem Health keepers from Henrico County and my Wife was an existing patient. They have "booted" her out based on having that insurance and refusing her the needed healthcare. Virginia Endocrinology should be ashamed of themselves!!
New to the area. Tried to get an appointment for an entire year, I was 11 minutes late. I had a lot of terrible things happen on the way there. Unfortunately they only have a 10 minute grace period. Which is Very tight. And they refuse to reschedule new patients who do not show up early. so now I have to start all over with getting records sent to somebody else who’s not seeing anybody for seven months and getting a referral and all these things.
