For a hospital that takes up half of the The Capitol of Richmond, it’s the worst Hospital ever the nurses are rude. The doctors don’t give a flying flip. I don’t even know if they know what they’re doing. They’re just resident doctors that don’t even care. The doctors that in charge aren’t even there to oversee. I don’t know how they haven’t gotten away sliding under the Medical board, but it’s really pathetic. Support staff (non-med) is rude, dismissive and condescending.
VCU ER is where medical standards go to die. An absolute dumpster fire of a facility with zero care for human life. I’ve seen more urgency in a graveyard. Avoid this place if you actually want to survive your emergency. VCU more like Virtually Careless Union.
I've been here for 6 hours throat hurts really bad. Some lady with a supposedly concussion looks totally fine gets to go straight into. I'm literally suffering and crying
