First time staying here. Location was good. Really close to the freeway and downtown. Area looks like it is up and coming. With coffee and restaurants in walking distance. Atmosphere of the hotel was cool and “trendy”. It is a nice hotel. But seems worn out in need of maintenance. And unfortunately something went wrong with everything during our stay. Our stay at Virgin Hotels Dallas was far below expectations, especially traveling with a 1-year-old. The poor experience started right at arrival—the bellhop watched us struggle through the heavy doors with a baby and multiple pieces of luggage without offering any assistance. When we walked into the lobby, it was stiflingly hot, and front desk staff informed us the air conditioning was broken.
