Haven't been to see the updated Sports Illustrated Resort but have been to the then Virgin Hotel. Disclaimer for those that commit to a tour date/timeshare presentation, the $40 deposit is non-refundable depending on the state you reside in. This is stated in the fine print of their email confirmation, but when speaking with representatives in-person, they verbally said this was refundable.

Generally good hotel with great location in downtown Chicago. Clean room, modern amenities, and the rooftop lounge with pool table and drinks is a nice plus as well. Just two reasons for not giving a higher rating. The Wifi was really slow, much slower than using data on our phones. More importantly, they are really pushing a $99 "special" that you pay now and go to their hotel in Nashville or Chicago within 12 months simply by calling a number. Got duped into their hard sell of timeshares by someone from a nearby event. I was told it was a tour of the property, assuming to be the new hotel. They took a $40 deposit then you learn it's a 90-minute timeshare sell presentation. Fine, I'll listen. Once the pressure came from a 2nd rep with a bad attitude (after 2 full hours), I was out.
