Prime downtown location — one block from the riverwalk. Very walkable — lots of restaurants, bars, and stores, and landmarks like The Bean The rooms — very clean, spacious and had great views but could use better lighting. The rooftop — great views as well, you could see the riverwalk. They have open bar daily from 2-7pm… my kind of amenity! Richard, David, and William were our bartenders throughout our stay, they were so nice and gave great local recommendations. This will be my go-to hotel whenever I’m in Chicago!

Generally good hotel with great location in downtown Chicago. Clean room, modern amenities, and the rooftop lounge with pool table and drinks is a nice plus as well. Just two reasons for not giving a higher rating. The Wifi was really slow, much slower than using data on our phones. More importantly, they are really pushing a $99 "special" that you pay now and go to their hotel in Nashville or Chicago within 12 months simply by calling a number. Following my recent trip to Chicago, the Sports Illustrated Resorts location here has become a favorite thanks to the outstanding customer service from Leah and Shay. After enduring two hours of rush-hour traffic, I was greeted with genuine kindness and an efficient check-in process. We stayed at Sports Illustrated for 2 days, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Parking can be crazy in the area and valet was a breeze) additional charge bit so worth it) We were checked in by Owen and my husband mentioned it was my birthday. We went out for a while and when we came back Owen and the activities team had a beautiful gift basket with wine and other treats in our room! That thoughtful gesture was so sweet. I was concerned after reading reviews. I am happy to report our stay was wonderful. We had a great drink on the upper deck. The staff was friendly and we did not experience any pushy sales. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable!
