Very nice and clean room and in a great part of the downtown area. Good restaurants nearby. Smaller elevators and room, though, but that comes with being downtown. Very small lobby. Nice staff. Quiet and luxurious finishes. No issues at all with the room itself. My only complaint is that the parking wasn’t great. It’s a public lot next to the hotel and is $63/day. We were very excited for our stay, and specifically stayed here because of the river view room option, which we booked. Upon arrival we were told we were ‘upgraded’ to a city view room. When I told the employee that we booked and paid for a river view room she was very dismissive and told us there was a mistake and we were out of luck. All she offered was a waived amenity fee and a couple drink tickets. We were so excited for this visit, and to not even get the room we booked was such a let down.

Called ahead because I read a review that there was loud road construction outside and no hot water. Person told me to call after I booked to request a higher up room to avoid noise. They put us on the 24th floor (2 from the top). Nobody told me there was a club on the roof that blasted heavy bass that shook my room until 2am, I’d be right next to the elevator, everyone on my floor would be yelling all night, and every time someone flushes the toilet at the club we can also hear it in our room. I requested a suite with the best view for our 30th anniversary. I even called at 10am the day of our reservation to confirm this request. We were given a handicap accessible room on a lower level looking at 2 buildings. The hotel was unable to accommodate our preferences despite indicating this during our booking and phone call. I am extremely disappointed and upset. Our particular upgrade was not worth the extra money- musty handicapped shower, low bed, modified closets, veneer peeling off table, tired looking room.
