I have had four surgeries between 2006 and 2025 for my "s" shaped scoliosis curve. The first 2006 fusion was done by Dr Ted Wagner, who works with Dr. Patel. I was 40 years old; they fused T 10 through L2 or 3. That fusion held and I was able to do almost everything athletic I wanted to do except run at a fast pace, up until 2018.
