I have been a patient at the clinic for over 10 years, and unfortunately, the service is getting worse. I had an appointment today for a flu jab with the nurse. I arrived three minutes late, and the self check-in system wasn't working. There was one person in front of me, which kept both receptionists busy. Many thanks to all the staff at Violet Melchette Centre Access Hub. Was seen for physiotherapy referral. The facility is indeed open on saturday, had a bit of confusion about it before, but just make sure to go to the Access Hub ( which is a seperate facility) at 30 Floodwalk street, not at the Violet Melchette GP centre which is in front of the Fulham Sports Centre.
Was referred to this so called Enhanced Access Hubby my GP for out of hours appointment. Booked for 7.10pm.arri ed and although it states it closes at 20.00 and o their website their services are advertised to be opened u til 9pm. It was closed. The level of inefficiency is appealing. No wonder people have to attend A& E for issues that could be easily resolved if community services that are supposed to provide enhanced care services as advertised and funded for, are closed!
The level of hostility I’ve experienced here is shocking. In particular, the receptionist Jackie is one of the rudest and most unpleasant people I’ve ever had to deal with. She is aggressive, dismissive, and completely unsuited for a customer-facing role — let alone one involving people’s health. To make matters worse, this practice has withheld my medical records for longer than is legally permitted, actively obstructed my access to medical care, and treated my concerns with contempt.
