AWESOME!! Simply an awesome theater! Even the independent movies typically shown are great! Often, I'll see a movie just because it was selected by the Violet Crown to be shown; and often, it might be a movie I wouldn't have thought to choose.
The experience was unpleasant, it felt like we were a pain for being there for the 10pm show. My wife ordered pretzel and the guy that served them was rude and not happy to be there. What was kinda shocking is that at 10:30 (30 minutes after the movie started) I went back to the bar to grab another beer and they were closed, it was “too late” to mention what I’ve been told, and I wasn’t able to buy anything else. Experience seemed as if we were an inconvenience the entire time, no drink refills on refillable drinks because they closed everything down and which is just silly if you have movies playing still.. would have been nice for a heads up also if you close things early during late showings, and just plain unfriendly staff, disappointed
First time trying Violet Crown on a Sunday morning and I thought it was fine. Not sure if I’d return back...I just wanted to try something different than my usual Alamo Drafthouse and Regal. The price is a little steep for $16 especially when there’s normal seats and no recliners. The seats also feel small and the cup holder doesn’t even fit a normal water bottle I brought in.
