We had a fantastic experience relocating a campervan from Las Vegas to San Francisco over 2 days...We had a free vehicle with 3 beds, so that gave us free accommodation too! Great fun, and the Transfercar service was reliable and efficient.
I really liked the idea of relocating a vehicle and hence, I subscribed and followed the postings for months. Finally, when I got a listing that matched my dates and itinerary (NYC to Orlando), I booked it with a lot of excitement. This is the only reason I am rating it 2/5 stars. My understanding was that this was a win-win for both the rental agency and me, the customer. However, the rental agency was somewhat rude to me when they realized I got the RV for just a $1.
