I really wanted to love my experience with The Vintage Bride, which makes this review very difficult to write. I fell in love with a vintage gown and trusted that a boutique specializing in vintage restoration would preserve what made it special while tailoring it to fit me. The boutique itself is lovely, we enjoyed the appointments, and the original styling of my daughter’s wedding dress—with the petticoat and veil— was beautiful. Honestly, I would give zero stars if I could. My friend found her dream wedding dress here and absolutely fell in love with it. Cher, the salesperson, had spent several appointments with her personally and was in constant contact with her throughout the process, so she knew exactly how much my friend loved this dress. I brought in my Mom's wedding dress from the 1980s. I had been to a few other designers, but Cher was the only one who seemed very passionate about maintaining the integrity of the dress. We worked through a plan to re-design the dress and I had so much fun during the process.
