gene is a busy guy with lots of high end customers. that being said he took the time to help a heber local with his beat up old pop up camper. electrical issues solved and me and my girls are going camping tomorrow night thanks to gene and his great group of guys.
A sincere thank you for your quality and timely repairs on our trailer. One particular detail summarizes my feelings. The refrigerator door had "jumped off its hinges" once before and was part of your repairs. The Airstream dealer told us that this happens but it is an easy five minute fix but it happened a second time. You investigated the problem and discovered that the refrigerator was not level. I am now confident the refrigerator and its door will travel safely on wash-boarded roads in the future.
Gene and Jacqueline Magre are very personable and easy to work with. They are good old fashioned honest people. We bought a 26' Airstream Overlander Land Yacht—all original in amazing condition. His staff was equally great and gave us detailed information about everything we needed to know to make the journey home. They made our dreams come true and we are already in talks to buy a second one!
Be honest and upfront about what they can and can not do. Quality work will always be appreciated - in our case, on our interior, theirs was not quality work. Also, stay on schedule and on budget.
I am real and was treated very dishonestly by Gene, the owner of vin. airstream Rest. I did buy a trailer from him only after being strung along for over a month on a 58 airstream in his yard that he repeatedly told me he owned but was having a difficult time transferring to his name. He later applied my deposit to a different model airstream. Someone else bought the 58 later on from the legitimate owner. I say buyer beware of this guy.
