room 849 for our wedding, love the hotel, valet staff are top top, bar, restau all fine. Until security guard Erik kicked me and my bride out because he found our friend taking photos too profesional. When I kindly told him he is no prof whatsoever he insisted, so I kindly touched his shoulder in an accomodating way and told him we would be leaving because our little horse and carriage arrived ... Fantastic
Service was swift and professional from bell hop to room service. Very beautiful glass chandeliers. In-house restaurant was a bit pricey but it was very convenient to not have to leave the hotel.

We love the Vinoy!, Come every year for Sunshine Music Fest , just a short ride from home (Sarasota) but always make it an extended stay to enjoy the area.
Every previous stay at The Vinoy was a 5. This stay would have been a 5 as well if not for Angel from security. He is an angry , unprofessional employee and needs further training in customer service.
Charming historic hotel bursting with character.
Best place to stay in St.Petersburg. Close to great restaurants, night life. Staff was fantastic. We will definitely return.
