What an amazing family run joint!!! Walking into Vino Tapa is like walking into the town of Barcelona. For Murray Hill, this is quite the feat. I commend the owner and the chef for executing everything so nicely. I know I can't wait to go back! They also do very special tasting menu's with wine pairings. Fantastic!
The food is so delicious and so appealing on the plate. The service is so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is so comforting you don't want to leave. My only regret is that I don't live closer so that I could be there everyday.
Great place for the most scrumptious food, great drinks, wonderful surroundings, and last but certainly not least the amazing CHEF MICHAEL VASSALLO!!!
Overall everything was terrible, wine, food and service. They were OUT of half the wine and the brussel sprouts were mush. The only thing that was good was the food they didn't make aka the cheese and meat plate. Avoid this place!
Not worth the price! The service was awful, the waitress didn't know anything about the food and drinks. The food was terrible. We ordered like 10 different tapas and nothing was good. I tried ordering a couple different wines and they were sold out of just about everything which is sad considering they only have about 10 red and 10 white to choose from (which alone is an issue since it's a "wine" bar). Don't waste your time here.
