My personal experience is once you're a patient, getting an appointment with Dr. Abraham is usually a minimum of a 2-3 month wait. He seems to allow his personal beliefs on non-medical matters to impact how and if he treats patients. Wait for him at your own risk. As a former patient I once waited nearly 5 months for an appointment only to be denied simple documentation explaining the symptoms of the condition I was diagnosed with by multiple doctors, a diagnosis which he agreed with and prescribed me medication for. Has an attitude of superiority and if you question or disagree, he literally dismisses you, I was told if I didn’t want his advice, I could leave, which, I am, happily doing, actively seeking new neurology practice that values an educated patient who cares about their health. Don’t bother sending records he won’t accept or read them. Disregarded medical history & tests, saying he will form his own opinion.
Follow up on May 2, 2019 after emergency hospitalizing about migraine headache. Doctor Vinod Abraham is very nice, knowledgeable, and hearted physician. He takes care his patients with his experiences, and doesn’t over used unnecessary tests. He also doesn’t prescribe medication abusively. His staff is very kind, friendly, and professional.
Horrible experience when appointment for migraine headache treatment was cancelled by the docor minutes before we were to arrive. I am handicapped and had migraine headaches for 30 days prior to appointment. No explanation was given by the doctor for refusing to give treatment. Horrible experience.
Very personable, listens to your concerns and feelings. He takes the time that you feel is needed to explain your diagnosis to you. In my case multiple sclerosis. I have felt very cared for
He actually greatly improved my quality of life by helping me control my headaches. His bedside manner with me was very professional.
I took my daughter for her migraine to this excellent physician and it has changed her life
My mother goes to this doctor for seizures. She is very happy with their care
Awful. Refuses to answer questions. Poor bedside manner. Has attitude that he is the doctor and the patient should not question his methods or decisions.
