My wife and I had dinner here the first time. I had the Cantadina with Italian sausage, and she had the Tortellini Boscaiola. The Cantadina was to die for. The tortellini, on the other hand, was good but too salty for either of us. The waitress asks if we we're finished. We said yes. She then asked why we had left so much of the tortellini on the plate. Absolutely the best! You can't beat the service or the food. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about wine and does specialty pairings monthly. It is one of our favorite places to eat.
Great service, but the food was disappointing given the other reviews and price. The bread seemed very homemade in a bad way, hah. Like they used the wrong flour or overkneaded it… it was crumbly like stale cornbread with no real crust. The other food was ok. Maybe we just picked the wrong thing from the menu or the cook had an off night.
Came in on December 2nd 2023, and currently have a reservation February 17th 2024. We went in on Saturday the 2nd of December for a date night and did not have a reservation however Lorenzo still greeted us and fit us in the dining room. Very friendly staff and the recommendations were ON POINT. Everything we ordered was magnificent and you can tell the quality just by the taste and that everything was made from scratch.
