RecommendedMy husband and I are from Indiana and a friend recently traveled to Asheville and visited Vinnie's. She recommended it to us and we were so happy to have come! We were greeted as soon as we came in and while there was a wait for a table, we sat in the bar and had a drink and had wonderful service. Our waitress during dinner was so very nice and attentive. The food was great. We got the cauliflower board, rigatoni bolognese, and chicken marsala. But honestly, it was the warm atmosphere and great people that made it.
Absolutely amazing food and the most attentive and friendly staff I've come across in a long time! We had an awesome evening.
They were very busy so perhaps that should be taken into consideration. Took a long time to get food and my chicken parmigiana was overcooked, actually a little burned. Everyone else said their meal was ok. Great server but food not that great.
Being originally from Chicago , there are plenty of Italian restaurants in the area but Vinnies by far reaches the expectations of a authentic Italian restaurant. everything we had ordered here was excellent along with the service and the family atmosphere. It was our first time and will not be our last.
One of the best Italian restaurants EVER!!! The garlic knots are simply to die for. Greek salad was awesome. I have the chicken piccata… There are no words in the English language to describe the deliciousness!! Cannot wait to go back!!
While visiting my daughter who just moved to Asheville I decided I was in the mood for Italian food. She took me to Vinnie's. Great choice! The food was amazing, we had a knowledgeable and wonderful server named Mike who helped me choose just the right marinara sauce...the one with Sunday in the name. My daughter chose one of the specials but didn't care for the taste. Our server made sure she got some meatballs like the ones in my dish. Oh my goodness!! The best food ever!!!!! The ambience and staff were tops too! Can't beat it. You MUST give it a try. Oh and the best part, dinner for two with drinks and app....under 50 bucks!
Great Italian restaurant! Ate there two nights in a row. Fun atmosphere, delicious food, wonderful service. James was a super waiter. Your new fans from Kentucky.
