HUGE disappointment!! From the ONLY toilet in the outside venue area being broken and closed, servers at the reception wearing FLIP FLOPS to serve the appetizers, The outside deck being rebuilt (promised TO BE completed by wedding date) not anywhere near being finished ( just a large area of DIRT), music to be played at cake ceremony FORGOTTEN, yard attendant attempting to blow ceremony area off during pictures! Terrible. Have you ever heard of an "on-site wedding coordinator" leaving the event/venue before the reception began?? None of the staff knew where the sparklers were for the send off, the entire bridal party had to help set up the decor for the venue, and there was construction and GA clay / bulldozers on site when we were told everything would be ready, painted, fresh sod, etc. The staff was rude and unprofessional and I will let every person I know that this venue was the worst I had ever experienced.
The wedding coordinator Barb is a sweetheart!!! She has helped me so much to make sure I have everything I need for my upcoming wedding!!! The vines is going to be an amazing place to have my wedding and reception at and I can not wait!
Vines is an absolutely beautiful venue. I was impressed with the versatility of the place and how many different options we could have for our wedding – including even how to make an outdoor event in January possible. Building and grounds are gorgeous and the staff very professional and helpful – Christa is wonderful :)
