A restaurant that has stood the test of time due to its excellence and consistency in both food and service. The grilled meats are especially good, and risotto is a strength.
I had season tickets to Steppenwolf Theater for about ten years and had dinner at Vinci before every performance. The food is absolutely delicious, the staff is courteous and atmosphere is terrific. No matter how much time you have, you can be served and still be on time for the play. We have recently moved to Naples Florida and that dinner/theater experience is the thing I miss most. �
We always enjoy eating at Vinci. The food is always well prepared and the staff is friendly and helpful. Their once a month wine dinner on the second Wednesday is the best value in Chicago.
We come to Vinci often for dinner before the plays at the Steppenwolf. We are never disappointed.. the martinis and wine are amazing and the food never disappoints ... just amazing every visit ... last night I had the fish special Cobia served with a curry sauce and spinach and some roasted root veggies .. it wa s suggested by our waitress .. I am embarrassed I don’t know her name by now .. she is wonderful ...very attentive yet allows us to slowly pace if we wish !! She is amazing !!! We are there usually on Tuesday nights ... read more
