Wonderful Service and Great Food Wonderful Service and Great Food. I know of some people who drive up from Lodi to have dinner here. Good veal cutlets, really good steaks and great spaghetti. Check it out.
Great Dining Experience – I had a 50th Anniversary party for 52 people at Vince's (Elk Grove) last week (2/15/08) which went perfectly. I placed the food orders several days in advance, and there were changes up to and including the day of the party and all orders were perfect. Bad dining experience – This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. I invited friends and family to celebrate my fathers birthday and reserved the back private room, there were 24 of us in all. We had one waitress for the whole party. She never bothered to take drink orders so the guest had to go to the bar and help themselves. Our water pitchers on the table ran out so we had to refill them ourselves. One of the oldest restaurants in Elk Grove.. – Very good! One of the best steaks I have had.. No wait for us.. Cheap prices good for families!!! We have been going here for the past 12 years!!
Good food, but a long wait. – Vince's serves great family style italian food. It's usually pretty busy with long waits, especially on Friday and weekend nights. There's a bar, if you want some predinner drinks. Then there's the wait for the food, I've averaged 30 minutes after ordering food to get to eat it. By then I've filled up on their very good, warm bread. The staff always looks rushed and a little spread thin, but they are always nice.
