My mother was on the public wait list for a total knee replacement for nearly 3 years. She was in tremendous paid and was immobile in the days leading up to surgery. Mr Vincent Yap is a fantastic Orthopaedic surgeon who takes the time to listen to what's going, doesn't go straight for the chop if he doesn't think it's necessary. He will continue to follow up with your progress, do the tests to warrant what he thinks might be the cause to either fix you up making you have your life back again or if he finds something else wrong he can refer you to other specialists he knows who look after you just as good as he will. Dr Yap is a very good surgeon. I had right Total Knee Replacement done on 8 July, 2025 in Mitcham Private Hospital. He is a very professional, well experienced and look after patient very well. He did my right knee operation was very successful and the wound healed well. Dr Yap is an excellent doctor that I highly recommend to my friends if they want to do any joint replacement operation. We are very grateful to Dr. Vincent Yap for his excellent care. He performed a highly successful hip replacement surgery for my mother, who is in the late stages of cancer. Despite our financial difficulties, Dr. Yap was incredibly thoughtful and always put the patient’s needs first. His treatment plan was both effective and cost-conscious.
