I would not recommend him for the care of any of my family or friends. He is the most careless doctor in brevard county. My mother is a patient of his and we are looking to get her a different doctor that specializes in patient care and not just ordering irrelevant tests that have nothing to do with the patients diagnosis. We are working to see what can be done about his continued negligence!
Dr. Sciortino is very knowledgeable and competent Dr. He listens and responds to any questions and or concerns. Orders and or makes necessary referrals as needed. The Drs. he refers his patients to are excellent physicians. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Sciortino's diagnostic skills are amazing... He was definitely born to do this. Honestly, I think that some of these reviews are unfair since a lot of it is not even Dr.Sciortino's fault... He works extremely hard and cares deeply about his patients... One of the best doctors I've ever met.
I wrote a review 2 days ago regarding my son's visit. I said insurance had been filed and was unaware his medicare card reflected he had part B which he does not.
Follow up visit to view blood work . I was denied seeing the Dr. because I didn't have $100 to pay for my visit. Drove 30 miles to find this out at his office . Have never felt as inept and embarrassed about anything in my life. When I asked the assistant about how come they couldn't have called me first she replied that I should have known.
Rude office staff and incompetent office especially the physician
Dr. Sciortino listens to answers to the questions he asks, and answers questions the patient asks. He orders appropriate tests for complaints and for follow-up of particular problems. His staff tries hard to care for the needs of every patient with regards to insurance referrals and approvals, test scheduling, appointments, and anything else that the patient needs. Dr. Sciortino is one of the few doctors left that actually goes to the hospital to see his own patients!
The staff is very rude and sloppy. They make you feel like a number your heath and problems are not important to them at all. I went to and doctor I will never walk in to that office even if I am on my death bed.
