Bought a Stihl saw years ago and it was a lemon. I had it serviced a couple times before it finally broke for good. I was told it needed a new piston which is basically the same price as a new saw. I was told this likely happened because I may have used the saw to cut branches. I saw its carcass in my basement the other day and it still pisses me off to think about. The guy working at the parts counter at the time is possibly the most miserable person I have ever met. Hope things have turned around for him.
