I highly recommend Professor Vincent Lamaro. After 10 years of suffering from Stage 4 Endometriosis and five unsuccessful surgeries, my condition worsened due to inadequate treatment. Dr. Lamaro’s expertise changed everything—he successfully removed cysts around my kidney, large and small intestines, and provided excellent post-op care. I’m finally in good health, and my only regret is not finding him sooner.

For 22 years I’d been suffering of the effects of endometriosis which had been pinned on a variety of other illnesses and left untreated. Dr Lamaro got me into surgery promptly, did an excellent excision that immediately improved all my symptoms. The nurses and aftercare team at St Vincent’s were so lovely and helpful, the pain management was exceptional (when I woke I didn’t believe I had surgery as I wasn’t in any pain) and Dr Lamaro dealt with all my questions even when I was in a difficult state. He did not seem to listen to my concerns to ‘treating’ endometriosis with hormones. Considering he is supposed to be a endometriosis surgeon I expected that he would want to excise the endo (he looked at the scans and said it was likely endo). It would have been good to know his rationale but he was not interested in discussing anything with me and seemingly ignored my objections to hormone treatment.
