This is a very belated review but still worthwhile because 12 years after Dr Phan performed surgery on my teenager basketball players elbow (to remove a painful cyst that was impeding his range of motion) things are still great. Things were great from the "gitgo". Dr Vince is skilled, empathetic, kind, and professional. I'll always be grateful to UTMB Alvin Pediatrics, the SUPER AWESOME DR. MARIA NGUYEN for recommending him.
Dr. Phan saw me for a broken wrist. He came into the room with his assistants and squeezed the hell out of my wrist and told me it was broken and sent me home. Nothing for the pain. No brace was given to support my wrist either. My tendons in the back of my hand are in terrible pain and pop when I try moving my hand. I have been trying to get my findings from Phans team to give to my primary care physician but no one returns my messages and when I call his “team” no one answers. I don’t understand any negative review for Dr Phan. Other than there are always a few that complain about everything. Dr Phan is an excellent hand surgeon. He has taken care of numerous hand problems and the outcomes have been wonderful! From trigger fingers to fused fingers and things in between. I keep returning because I know he will take care of me. I love how he draws and explains surgical procedures. Bottom line is I’ve probably been pinging back and forth with him about 10 years. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Phan did hand surgery on both hands due to no cartilage. This was 2016 & 2017. Never been happier. No pain and am able to do anything.
Dr Phan performed wrist surgery on my mother. The surgery was a success. Dr Phan did an excellent job.
