Called them to set up an SSI phone interview to see if I qualified for disability. Actually surprised someone answered. Very condescending and treated me like I was stupid for not understanding some questions. I get that that job has to be very taxing, but as someone who’s worked in a maximum security prison, you can still be professional. Thanks, SSA and US government. Now, I don’t know what to do about all this. Nothing ever gets done about it.

Since they don't want to answer their phone today, I'll make it public. Go to any office BUT this one. Yes, it's faster to use this office but I found out why yesterday. The woman at the desk that you deal with for your social security needs SUCKS. Her personality, her lack of policy knowledge, her inability to be empathetic in any situation.
