Dr.Lai was very professional and I did not doubt my choice to have him do surgery. I see in other comments people don't like his bedside manor, to this I say, do you want it done right or do you want a surgeon to give you warm and fussy and mess your knee up in surgery.I want the best.Staff is great.
I had an appt. with Dr. Vince Lai on7.30.25 to get a second opinion about my knee. I was told to bring the disc for MRI I had. I did so. He came into the exam room with another doctor that was shadowing him. He told me he would not do the surgery because I'm "only 52yrs old" He felt like I should wait, because I would probably need a second surgery later. I adore Dr. Lai and his staff. I have never had a bad experience. He did surgery for a meniscus tear last year and just had a total knee replacement this June. He is very encouraging and positive. Recovery had been great!
Compelling evidence strongly suggests he committed intentional malpractice in a conspiracy with my employer and that he did not properly examine and diagnose a verly likely sustained aggravating injury, to prevent the validation and filing of a workers compensation claim. Then abandoned me as a patient. As of today, seven days until the one year anniversary of the surgery, he still has not legally released me from his obligation to treat as a patient.
