My mom just celebrated her 82nd birthday yesterday in good health and asked to visit her alma mater, the Villas, today to see Rachel, Sadie and her other friends. This place means the world to us as each and every one of them helped my mom and me in 2023. She went from the poorest condition of her life from Pekin Manor rehab (from a fall) to being fully able to go home, in 3 months of assisted living, in January of 2024. A wonderful facility with wonderful caring people!
Your loved ones are NOT SAFE here. My mother moved in October 1,1025 we moved her back out December 2025, less than 3 months. Staff would not check on my mother on the average of 12-17 hours on a daily basis. Staff will last see them around (4-5 pm) then won’t lay eyes on them again till (8-10:20 am). Longest time was 23 hours. They lie about meal checks. Looking thru my mothers charting from The Villas, we’ve found false documenting. Knowing darn well those checks were never done.
