The maintenance team at Villas at Playa Vista Sausalito is amazing! They are so prompt when trying to aid you and they do such a thorough job. They also have such a loving and kind attitude about it. One time they fixed my freezer and proceeded to clean parts of my kitchen. Another time I asked if they can look at something else, and even though it wasn't their job and they were busy about to complete another request, Brian stuck around and helped fix our AC unit. I’ve been living at Sausalito for a year and just transferred to a new unit. The rent is definitely on the higher side, but it matches the location and level of comfort, you really do get what you pay for. The community is clean, secure, and well-maintained, and I especially appreciate the extra pest control services, since bugs are a big concern for me. The staff has also been great to work with. I’ve lived here for over a year. Management has been great, responding quickly and professionally to my occasional maintenance requests. The technicians are friendly and competent. I love living here!
The only reason I gave this place one star is because the location is nice—otherwise, I would have given it zero if that were possible. Unfortunately, the community is run more like a corporation than a place where residents’ concerns are valued. Every time you call the office, they say they’ll look into it and call you back, but they never do—you always have to follow up yourself. Love living in the apartments at Sausalito. Leasing staff are friendly and supportive and responsive. The apartments are located in a community with abundant amenities and are attractive, clean and secure. Beautiful garden courtyards, excellent gym and pool as well as multiple outdoor seating areas in gorgeous courtyards, beautiful barbecue areas, lounges, meeting rooms. Maintenance is prompt, easy to get and performed by experienced and friendly staff.
