The reasons people go to a neuropsychologist can be nerve-wracking but Dr. Villar made me feel very safe by being so clearly competent and also non-judgmental and supportive. She is truly interested in me and my needs. She is reassuringly thorough. It is always a special experience when you witness someone who excels in what they do and that's the experience I got during the evaluation. Dr. Villar was very helpful and easy to talk to. Her staff was quite friendly and made the testing process easy. I highly recommend.
I took my son for testing with Dr. Villar and finally got some answers. She took the time to help me understand everything and gave a really detailed report explaining how to help him in school and at home. He's already making improvements, so I'm going to have his sister tested soon.
I'm so thankful Dr. Villar was able to help me and my son. It's such a relief to finally have answers and the tools to help him succeed.
Dr. Villar and her staff are amazing. They are friendly, organized, an professional. I saw her for a full eval, and actually enjoyed going. She treats her patients with patience, kindness, understanding, and no judgement. - The Harry Potter decor was a bonus... +1 for team Slytherin.
Dr Villar is wonderful she listens and asks questions and helps one with understanding what and how one thinks. I am very pleased with her.
Disappointed. Change appointments and don’t let patients know (happened to my daughter). I made an appointment 2 weeks prior and was asked for the method of payment which I provided. The day I got to the office, taking time off from work, they told me they didn’t know if it was covered. They called the same day and didn’t leave a message. The doctor that I was supposed to meet with, was there when this happened and was showing some attitude instead of finding a solution. Really disorganize
