Amazing staff and safe area to live 👏🏾
RecommendedOverall, it's a nice place to live. I currently live in a 1 bedroom apartment here and things have been quiet ever since I moved in last fall. Also, when I had an issue with the heater in late fall, someone came out to fix it first thing the next morning, which was great!

I am a healthcare worker and am being deployed to further the relief efforts for the COVID-19 pandemic. The owner would not offer any COVID-19 discounts/waivers/relief toward my early lease termination fees. Shame on Villages at Lake Silvercote!
We were treated terribly. We needed a place to live while our new house was being built. We have three cats. We were told that they would make an exception to their 2 pet maximum pet policy. We filled out the paperwork, got the vet records together, and wrote a check. When I went to drop it off they told us that they could no longer make an exception. What an absolutely terrible way to run a business. Why would they make a promise they can't keep? Makes me wonder what else they lie about. Terrible way to treat people.
They said we owe money after leaving and didn’t get any of our security deposit back because we had pets and they had to replace all the carpet. Which is a lie I had pets in my previous apartments in Ofallon and lake St. Louis and they didn’t replace the carpets at all. We also replace all the blinds in the living room cause a few got chewed but we got brand new ones and they charged us $75 for the blinds still. DO NOT MOVE HERE. Unless you want to have your rent increased substantially after the first year. We were giving ZERO notice of this price hike They said it was taped to the door. Which it was not or I would have moved. A formal complaint will be filed with the Better Business Bureau today
I have been a resident for one year, have never been late on a payment. I was told by office manager that there were no crazy rent increases. This week I was notified my rent was increasing 200.00 a month. That is crazy. I’m a single mom. Almost 1,200 a month in rent? I’m looking at other options.
We've been living here almost a year and never had an issue with staff. The front office ladies are always polite and the area has a homey feeling. The new maintenance man goes above and beyond doing everything he can to try and make sure we live some place safe and nice. Even the construction workers we've ran into have been nothing but nice to us. The trash is annoying but they can only do so much.
