RecommendedWe lived at Village West for two years and would highly recommend it! The amenities are great, staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and maintenance request were completed acuratelt and on time! Plus, the apartment itself is gorgeous. The only “complaint” I had was that our windows weren’t properly sealed so it was loud when it got windy outside. Other than that, it was a great place to live!! We only moved because we bought a house.
Always prompt with maintenance requests, everything in working order and clean grounds. Friendly staff but some residents are very rude towards animals but the residents tend to change every couple years so probably not an issue all of the time. A bit expensive but they are LUXURY apartments and you do get what you pay for. Lovely salt water pool!!
Horrible staff. If you are a day late you automatically get charged a late fee and are given a nasty prepare to vacate note. Management is horrible. Apartments are nice, but the property owners aren't kind. If we didn't have to live in Wyandotte county we would live somewhere else.
Village West was on our short list when we decided to downsize from our large house to a maintenance-free condo/apartment. Our decision was made for many reasons: 1) close to our children and their families, 2) location to employers, 3) close to shopping, 4) close to highways, 5) availability of top floor apartment with the view that we desired. We feel that it was a wise decision and truly like all of the added aminities. Well worth the price.
I just moved in recently, so I don't have a lot of experience yet with the amenities, but those I have used thus far (pool and gym) have been lovely. The leasing agent I worked with (Rachel) was very friendly and helpful.
