I lived in an older style of the two-bedroom unit in Village Solars from July 2021-2023. The original rent was $1445 (+ $160 in additional fees). After a year, the rent raised to $1485 (+ an additional $160 in fees). Then after two years, they raised it to $2200 (+ $160 fees). That is a 48% rent increase.
Current tenants forced to pay 2000$ for a 2bdrm apt. 20 mins away from Cornell and downtown ithaca. These people have really lost the plot, do not suggest anyone to come here
I've enjoyed my time at Village Solars and would highly recommend! The leasing office staff are kind and helpful. Maintenance is always quick to respond. The grounds are clean and well kept with lovely views. Peaceful area between Ithaca and Lansing near shopping, dining, parks, trails, Cornell, etc. 24 hour on site market for residents is a great perk!
