RecommendedSuch an amazing place. One of the girls took my kids in the sewing room and showed them a little about stitching while my wife and I shopped. It is relatively small but it has so much to offer. Definitely will be ordering online for the next things my wife needs.
I recently found Village Sampler. I have been looking for a few specific designs and materials. I was in St. Albans visiting and the after finding Village Sampler on the internet (after being unsuccessful to find a store near Illinois-which is where I currently live) it was on my list of places I wanted to check out while in WV. The selection is amazing, the shop is welcoming, and the ladies that work here are friendly, knowledgeable, and very, very helpful.
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Recommended by a family member and I was not disappointed. Love seeing all the new items they post. They keep you motivated.
I did not know there was such a store until I found it on fb. So I had to go check it out They are fantastic! I was made to feel so welcome. By Pat,her co-worker and several ladies in the store who belonged to a group that meets there to cross stitch. Excellent place to go !!!

Absolutely love this shop! Pat and Dana were wonderful and so helpful. Loved the wide selection of patterns, fabrics and fibers. Enjoyed Pat's stitching tips. Wish I lived closer. Definitely looking forward to coming back!
