My wife and I stayed here for roughly 6 years, and you won't find a better place for the price or for the community for that matter. Brian does a great job managing the place, and our coners were always addressed in quick order. Will miss it!
I lived here in 2020-2022 & then from 2023-2025. I've lived in 3 diff apartments (small one bedroom 3rd floor, large one bedroom first floor & 2 bedroom second floor) & enjoyed my time in all of them. I never had any major maintenence issues & was always given fair treatment by Brian. Would live here again if life brings me back to Kato. I have bounced around quite a bit in Mankato but since moving to Village Place Apartments I have been so happy. I have lived here for over 4 years and it is by far my favorite place I have lived in town. The apartment I have been in is spacious and well maintained. The neighbors are friendly and respectful. Nobody is overly loud or ever up too late. The price is very competitive compared to other living spaces of similar size in the area. We loved the pool and used it all the time. Beware living on first floor. More likely to get critters. And there are definitely all types of critters that enter this place. Also beware of upstairs and surrounding neighbor noises. The walls and cielings are thin and not sound proofed.
