Dr. Calkins is a passionate and experienced pediatrician. She has a wealth of knowledge, which includes everything they don't (but should) teach in medical school! She possesses a sharp, no-nonsense, analytical wit. As she is a mother and grandmother herself, she relates to the realities of parenthood. Dr. Calkins was my pediatrician growing up and is now all three of my kid’s pediatrician. We love this practice and everyone there!! They listen to your concerns, always get back to you, even if you call with a question/concern after hours. I can’t say enough nice things about the practice as a whole. Highly recommend.
We love this pediatricians office! We’ve been to a few in the area and didn’t end up going back, however Dr Calkins has provided excellent care, has had no issue with our family being vegetarian (including our 1 year old), and has no issue with our request to limit the number of vaccines given at one time. We also had to call for an on-call doctor and were put in touch with someone almost immediately. Definitely would recommend this office
