This place is horrible. Dog poop, trash, construction dirt, a/c has needed 2 services so far. Garbage disposal twice as well. Landscaping has gone down. Sprinklers not checked. I've been sprayed several times and the landscapers also leave crap everywhere. I've been charged fees for not having insurance but I've given the declaration page to them twice. Hearing the stories from other residents is shocking. After a year and a half, the gate has finally been closed but people can still walk in. I can't wait to get out!!!
I LOVE LIVING HERE! – I've lived here for six months now and I love it. It's clean, staff is friendly, maintenance is very reliable and will fix any problems promptly. Large dogs are welcome and they supply baggies to pick up after your dogs, so most people do so. I definitely recommend this as a great place to live. Pros: Large windows. Washer and dryer in unit. Surprise Rent Jack-Up RIpoff! Don't Move Here! – I have lived at Village Oaks for a year paying $1135 on a 12-month lease. I then opted for a shorter 3-month lease at $1295. Now they want me to pay $1365 for another 12-month lease instead of $1185 they offered me just last month. For a month to month, they want to charge $1775 vs. $1340 they offered last month. A Quality Complex – I have lived here for almost a year, and my boyfriend has been in there for 3. Overall it is a nice complex, every apartment community has its flaws that others mentioned below, so I fail to see how they would be happy anywhere. Yes, the trash does pile up some times on the weekends, because apparently the other residents are too stupid to figure out how to work a trash compactor even though there are directions clearly posted on it. Awful internet connectivity, pests in the apartment and pool – Over the air TV reception is limited in some apartments. Bright house is the only broadband internet service provider for this apartment, bright house broadband internet connection goes down very often, calls take almost 15 min time and appointments are usually 4-5 days away, apartment favors bright house and don't offer choice for high speed FIOS internet connectivity causing inconvenience to the residents. is there any great complexs in tampa? – I moved in about an year ago and its been awful, the staff is rude , the walls are paper thin and you can hear the noise of the highway in the back buildings! i honestly wouldn't recommend this apartment community to anyone looking, after reading all the reviews the last and only good one was probably written by the staff.
